The FARGO DTC400 Card Printer/Encoder is the first desktop card personalisation printer designed for field upgrades — allowing organisations to add double-sided printing and popular encoder options (smart card, proximity read-only, magnetic stripe) without replacing hardware. Using Fargo's direct-to-card (DTC) dye-sublimation and resin thermal transfer technology, it produces vibrant, full-colour ID cards with photos, barcodes, and digital signatures. The optional Print Security Suite, powered by Fargo SecureMark technology, adds up to five software-based security applications to help control card issuance and verify card authenticity.
